Sports facility overview

Machida City Athletic Stadium is located in the Machida Municipal Nozuta Park, which is full of greenery and situated in a hilly area of Machida City. The stadium is the home stadium of FC Machida Zelvia professional association football team.

In the park, various cultural events such as charcoal making experiences, handicraft classes, etc., are held. In the stadium, various athletic events such as athletic lessons for kids, family ekiden festivals, and para-athletics classes are held.

Machida City General Gymnasium

Machida City General Gymnasium, opened in October 1990, was built as one of the projects of the 30th anniversary of the city's establishment. It is a comprehensive sports facility equipped with a main arena that can hold various nationwide competitions and seats for more than 2,800 people, and a sub arena, a small gymnasium, two martial arts gyms, an archery court (Western and Japanese), and well-equipped training rooms.

Sun Machida Asahi Gymnasium is located in the centre of Machida city and it is very accessible from the accommodation.
The entire building is designed barrier free and shower rooms for people with special needs are equipped.
