Sports facility overview

The dome for the swimming pools, which is as tall as a 5-story building, was designed with the concept of "water" and so creates a feeling of brightness and openness. There are three indoor swimming pools, namely the main pool, the secondary pool and the diving pool, which can be used for various international competitions, such as swimming, water polo, synchronised swimming etc. The pools are heated, available throughout the year.

Main pool

The facility was used by the Japanese national swimming team for their pre-training camp in July 2016 for the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Summer Games.

  • Long distance: 10 courses (8 of them are internationally recognised)

The pool can be used for water polo games and synchronised swimming competitions.

Diving pool

  • Internationally recognised

  • Diving boards: 1m, 3m
