Saga is in the northern region of Kyushu located at the south west of Japanese islands, which is less than one hour drive from Fukuoka International Airport. The gentle climate of Saga provides a preferable living condition. The large portion of lands is either a plain field or hilly terrain, flowers and trees are seen everywhere, and the annual mean temperature is around 16 degrees Celsius (61 degrees Fahrenheit). And Saga has the lowest probability of an earthquake of anywhere in Japan.

Saga is a mine of good tasty foods. From sushi and Wagyu beef to healthy local dishes using locally produced ingredients, you will find many delicious things in Saga. Saga also offers globally famous potteries, high-quality foods cultivated in an abundance of rich nature, relaxing hot springs, festivals and other historical and traditional cultures and many other attractive things to see.

Saga Sports Commission is a government agency providing a one-stop service to introduce information related to Pre-Games training camps, including available sports facilities, accommodation, meals, and transportation within the prefecture.
