Miyazaki is currently promoting ”Sports Land Miyazaki,” an initiative to utilize the mild climate and excellent sports facilities to actively host sports training camps. Miyazaki has successfully hosted 7 Japanese professional baseball teams and 20 J-League soccer teams for training camps.

Aiming towards the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, Miyazaki is actively promoting training camps to both Japanese and overseas national teams as well as young athletes.
